We are a highly skilled and motivated Senior Cyber Security Specialist to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, AL, supporting the Missile Defense Agency. ​

💼 What You'll Do

Work independently with minimal supervision​

Brief status reports to the Leadership Team​

Prepare detailed reports for presentation​

Understand and manage the technologies of the assigned systems

🧠 What You Bring to the Table

15+ years of Information Technology/Cybersecurity Experience with a minimum of 5 years in the DoD and a minimum of 5 years of System Administration and configuration experience in the enterprise with one or more of the following technologies:​

Windows 7 – 10 including DoD Secure Host Baseline​

Cisco switches and routers​

Boundary defenses​

DoD 8570 IAM – III Certification Certification Details​

An active DoD SECRET Level Security Clearance (or have held one in the past 2 years)​

Strong skills in Tenable’s Nessus/Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS):​

Vulnerability Analysis​

Managing scan data in Security Center​

Providing reports to system owners, program managers, and ISSMs to track vulnerability metrics​

Uploading scan data to enterprise Mission Assurance Service (eMASS) to populate the asset management component​

Ports, Protocols, and Services (PP&S)​

LAN/WAN design and security​

Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity and Risk Management Framework (RMF) policy and procedures (DoD 8500, DoD 8510, NIST SP 800-37, & NIST SP 800-53)​

Knowledge of RMF Implementation guidance and applying technical expertise to continuous monitoring controls​

Ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences and explain complex situations to all levels of leadership, including SES/General Officers
