Accountabilities: Lead enterprise financial planning: Own the annual budgeting process, rolling multi-year forecasts, and long-range strategic planning across business units.

Advise executive leadership: Serve as a trusted financial advisor to the CFO, CEO, and executive team, providing financial perspectives, risk assessments, scenario analyses, and recommendations for major strategic initiatives.

Drive performance analysis: Oversee actual-versus-plan variance reporting, identify the underlying drivers of revenue and margin performance, and recommend appropriate strategic actions.

Support board and investor reporting: Develop and present clear, compelling financial materials for the Board of Directors, Investor Relations, and other external financial stakeholders.

Strengthen financial infrastructure: Modernize planning, reporting, and financial technology systems to improve efficiency, data quality, and reporting accuracy.

Improve KPI alignment: Recalibrate operational and enterprise-level KPIs across functions to ensure business performance remains aligned with financial objectives.

Build the FP&A organization: Develop, mentor, and scale a high-performing FP&A team while establishing strong analytical, technical, and professional standards.

Partner across the business: Collaborate with finance partners and leaders throughout the organization to generate actionable insights and support sustainable growth and operational efficiency.

Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, planning methodologies, reporting practices, and decision-making capabilities.

Requirements:

Professional experience: 8–10+ years of experience in FP&A, financial planning, or management accounting, preferably within a technology or software organization.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; an MBA or CPA qualification is preferred.

Enterprise FP&A leadership: Demonstrated success leading FP&A at scale, ideally within a public company or high-growth, private-equity-backed environment.

Executive communication: Exceptional communication, financial storytelling, and presentation skills, with the confidence to explain and defend financial analysis to executive teams and Board-level stakeholders.

Financial systems expertise: Deep proficiency with enterprise financial and planning tools such as NetSuite, Google Sheets, and Adaptive Insights.

SaaS knowledge: Strong understanding of SaaS business models and financial metrics, including ARR, CAC, margins, and other key growth and efficiency indicators; experience with consumption-based models is a plus.

Strategic judgment: Strong business judgment, curiosity, analytical thinking, and the ability to connect financial performance with broader business strategy.

Ownership and execution: Self-directed and highly detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities, operate effectively in fast-paced environments, and proactively identify improvements.

Leadership mindset: Proven ability to build trusted relationships across an organization and operate as a strategic finance partner rather than solely as a reporting function.

Work arrangement: The role is remote in the United States, with a hybrid working model strongly preferred.
