Accountabilities: The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for delivering reliable technical support, conducting investigations, and providing accurate reporting to improve customer outcomes and operational performance. This role requires strong ownership of field activities, technical diagnostics, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Conduct onsite and remote technical investigations by evaluating installations, operating conditions, system interfaces, and product performance using approved diagnostic approaches.

Perform authorized troubleshooting, testing, repairs, adjustments, commissioning activities, and temporary restoration procedures while following technical and safety guidelines.

Collect and document field evidence, including photographs, measurements, operating data, samples, and technical observations to support claim resolution and root-cause analysis.

Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Customer Claims Handling, Sales, and customer teams to validate findings and support corrective actions.

Prepare detailed and accurate technical field reports while ensuring compliance with documentation requirements, safety procedures, and service standards.

Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying recurring issues, sharing field insights, and contributing to enhanced product reliability.

Maintain strong customer relationships through professional communication, timely problem resolution, and effective technical guidance.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a technically skilled and customer-focused engineer with experience in field service, diagnostics, and industrial support environments. They should be comfortable working independently, analyzing complex systems, and collaborating with diverse teams.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent professional experience may also be considered.

Proven experience in field service engineering, troubleshooting, application engineering, manufacturing support, maintenance, commissioning, or similar technical environments.

Strong understanding of technical diagnostics, evidence collection, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and field safety practices.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, installation manuals, control logic, technical documentation, and diagnostic data for complex equipment and systems.

Strong problem-solving abilities with a structured approach to investigating technical issues and identifying effective solutions.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.

Adaptability, technical curiosity, safety awareness, and a proactive mindset toward continuous learning and improvement.
