Senior Software Engineer (m/w/d) Biotech Start-up

IRUBIS is a young biotechnology start-up specializing in bioprocess monitoring. We are building a state-of-the-art spectroscopy system, Monipa, to provide our biopharma customers with real-time analysis of their bioprocesses in drug development.

As a Senior Software Engineer at IRUBIS you will develop on-device software with modern technology and improve our internal infrastructure. Apply to IRUBIS and be part of a great team that aims to revolutionize the way biopharmaceuticals are produced!

Tasks

Develop our full-stack application using FastAPI and React/Next.js

Integrate hardware components into our software

Improve our Linux-Based Infrastructure

Develop internal tooling and automation workflows using Ansible and Streamlit

Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions

Collaborate closely with hardware, application, and sales teams

Requirements

At least 2 years of professional experience in software development

Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript

Experience writing clean, maintainable code and software tests

Solid experience with Git and version control workflows

Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines

Confidence working with Linux-based systems

Proficiency in English

Nice to Have: Experience in developing software for physical hardware; Experience with managing infrastructure
