Senior React Engineer — DaaS Platform (Regional Lead)

We are looking for a  Senior React Engineer — Regional Lead  to drive the delivery and evolution of a large-scale  micro-frontend platform  across multiple channels and regions.

You will work with  React, TypeScript, and Module Federation  to build and maintain a shared platform and codebase that supports diverse regional requirements. Beyond individual delivery, you will help define engineering standards, platform contracts, and technical practices adopted by a large, distributed engineering organisation.

This role is ideal for a senior engineer who enjoys working at both  technical depth and organisational scale —solving complex frontend problems while influencing how multiple teams build and deliver software.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regional delivery and technical direction for a large-scale micro-frontend platform.
• Design, develop, and optimise frontend applications using  React and TypeScript .
• Establish and drive frontend engineering standards, patterns, and best practices across multiple teams.
• Design and maintain shared  SDKs, libraries, and platform contracts  consumed by downstream applications.
• Define technical specifications and guidelines that can be adopted consistently across regional engineering teams.
• Balance shared core functionality with region- and channel-specific requirements through effective architecture and configuration.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across regions to ensure consistent technical quality and delivery.
• Identify and address frontend performance, scalability, maintainability, and developer-experience challenges.
• Work within enterprise  CI/CD, security, compliance, and architectural constraints  while maintaining high engineering standards.

Core Requirements

• Expert-level experience with  React and TypeScript , including strong understanding of TypeScript's type system, application architecture, and rendering/performance fundamentals.
• Proven experience designing and delivering  micro-frontend architectures , preferably using  Webpack Module Federation  or an equivalent technology, at production scale.
• Demonstrated track record of defining and enforcing engineering standards adopted across multiple teams.
• Strong experience building  shared SDKs, libraries, frameworks, or platform contracts  consumed by multiple downstream applications or teams.
• Experience supporting  multi-region and/or multi-channel product delivery , with the ability to balance shared core functionality and local configuration or customisation.
• Working knowledge of modern frontend build and bundling technologies such as  Webpack, Rspack, Rsbuild , or equivalent.
• Strong communication and technical leadership skills, with the ability to influence senior engineers and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing for  native or hybrid mobile applications , including iOS/Android WebViews and native bridge patterns.
• Exposure to frontend  observability and instrumentation , including performance monitoring, error tracking, and application health metrics.
• Understanding of frontend security considerations in enterprise or banking environments, including  Content Security Policy (CSP)  and cross-origin script loading.
• Experience working in large-scale financial services, banking, or other highly regulated enterprise environments.
