The Project Manager leads the administration, execution, and delivery of commercial heating and cooling equipment projects, ensuring exceptional customer outcomes. The ideal candidate is a resourceful problem-solver who can oversee a large portfolio of projects, think beyond day‑to‑day tasks, and collaborate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and customers.

Minimum of 3 years of project management, HVAC, mechanical, or construction-related experience
Small-mid sized projects
PM II
Minimum 5 years of project management, HVAC, mechanical, or construction-related experience
Mid to large sized projects, more complexity and higher-value projects

Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
Project Leadership & Execution
Manages small to mid-sized projects with guidance and support from senior management.
Manages 30–35 HVAC equipment projects concurrently with varying scope and dollar value, typically ranging from $1M to $3M
Oversees project execution from initiation to completion
Coordinates with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project success
Manages project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards
Reports project status to stakeholders and recommends improvements
Applies an understanding of HVAC equipment, mechanical systems, and construction workflows to anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions
Maintains consistent communication with internal and external teams
Builds strong, professional relationships that support customer satisfaction and repeat business
Enters equipment orders, issues purchase orders, and ensures compliance with internal procurement processes
Reviews and approves vendor invoices; issues customer invoices; reconciles project financials to maintain profitability
Compares estimated ship dates with contractor schedules and adjusts plans to maintain alignment
Generates service work orders for equipment start-ups and service visits
Participates in company-provided training and stays current on industry best practices
Supports a collaborative, high-performance team culture
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 3 years of project management, HVAC, mechanical, or construction-related experience
Familiarity with commercial HVAC equipment strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft and ability to adapt to CRM software
Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills
Financial literacy and comfort working with budgets, cost tracking, and project accounting
Ability to work in a typical office environment with occasional job site visits
