Who are you? Preferable skills and experiences
•Min 3 years of leadership experience, preferable as Shopkeeper or deputy sales manager. •You have a strong ability to coach, mentor and build competence in your team. •You balance strategy and tactics with a hands on approach, you are passionate about the sales floor, meeting the customers and leading by example when it comes to provide an outstanding customer journey. •You have the ability to inspire your team to achieve great things, set clear expectations and provide clarity where needed. •You have passion for home furnishings and people’s everyday life at home. •Your values reflect the IKEA values and you have the ability to inspire others •You embrace and appreciate diversity and cultural differences, you are curious to hear and learn from others About the job IKEA Sweden have ambitious sales goals and you will have a key role to develop, drive and follow up on our growth agenda. As Shopkeeper for Store/Organize & Lightning you will optimize sales in the specific shop by leading and inspiring your team of 10 co-workers using knowledge of our range, local market and customers. You use the IKEA tools and expertise of your team and colleagues to get support. This enables the IKEA mechanical sales system to work efficiently, and ensures the continued success of the IKEA Concept. You are big part of creating the best possible shopping experience at all times.
About the assignment The main assignments regarding the Shopkeeper for Store/Organize & Lightning includes
•to offer and deliver a consistent, smooth and positive customer experience from home to home through all our sales channels •to secure the store quality – so that the IKEA products are shown and presented in an inspiring way that will satisfy and encourage the customers to shop •to secure that there will be a continuous growth and updating of skills amongst your team/co-workers. This also means that you’ll be a part of developing talents to secure succession •develop, documenting, follow-up routines and assignments within your responsible area •supporting the leaders within the unit, which you also are a part of, regarding your responsible field •develop and generate action plans which leads to intensified visits from our customers •responsibility for the security when it comes to our co-workers and customers.
