Responsibilities:
- Manage both pre-contract and post-contract commercial activities for high-rise building projects.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, feasibility studies, project budgets, cost plans, and forecasts.
- Develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs), tender packages, pricing schedules, and contract documentation.
- Manage tendering, subcontractor enquiries, bid evaluations, negotiations, and tender reports.
- Provide value-engineering recommendations to achieve cost-effective project solutions.
- Prepare and assess interim valuations, variations, claims, final accounts, and subcontractor payments.
- Administer main contracts and subcontracts while maintaining accurate commercial records.
- Ensure all commercial activities comply with contract requirements, company procedures, and industry standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of quantity surveying or commercial experience within a main contracting company.
- Proven experience delivering high-rise building projects from pre-contract through final account.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, BOQs, tendering, budgeting, cost control, variations, claims, and contract administration.
- Good understanding of construction methods, materials, drawings, specifications, and project programmes.
- Familiarity with FIDIC and other standard construction contracts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quantity surveying or cost-management software.
