Welcome to Hallernes Smørrebrød. For 11 years, our smørrebrød has been a gastronomic innovation of the traditional smørrebrød. We take smørrebrød seriously, and you can taste it. This and our open kitchens have made us a success, so today we have approximately 90 colleagues spread across our smørrebrød bars in Tivoli, Torvehallerne, Magasin at Kgs. Nytorv, Frederiksberg Storcenter, Lyngby Storcenter and Rødovre Storcenter. At Hallernes Smørrebrød, we pride ourselves on our food and our craftsmanship. We use the best ingredients and create beautiful, honest and delicious versions of classic Danish smørrebrød. We opened our first stage in Torvehallerne in 2012 and now have 8 branches in Copenhagen, Rødovre and Lyngby.
Your tasks
About the position Hallernes Smørrebrød is looking for a reliable, flexible and hardworking driver & handyman who thrives on a varied workday and is eager to become part of a strong team.
The position combines food deliveries to our stalls with practical handyman tasks. You will be an important part of the daily operations and help ensure that deliveries, equipment, and practical tasks are handled safely, efficiently, and on time.
Food supplies
- Deliver food and supplies to our stands safely and on time
- Ensure that deliveries are carried out efficiently and with a focus on quality and service
Handyman tasks
- Installing shelves, signs and other installations
- Moving heavy objects, equipment and supplies
- Transport bottles and cans for recycling
- Perform minor painting work, repairs, and general maintenance
- Assist with other practical tasks as needed
Requirements
We expect you to
- Have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Can undergo a security and background check upon employment
- Speaks fluent English
- Can Danish – an advantage, but not a requirement
- It is reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities
- I am willing to occasionally work on weekends as needed – this is not a mandatory requirement
Physical requirements This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable lifting and moving heavy objects, performing manual work, and being on your feet for extended periods of time.
A practical and solution-oriented approach, as well as a willingness to help where needed, are essential.
