Guildhall is currently recruiting for a top-tier international contracting company delivering major high-speed rail and heavy civil infrastructure projects across the UAE. We are looking for an experienced HSE Head to take full ownership of Health, Safety & Environmental operations on a complex mega infrastructure project.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an HSE professional with strong technical capability, proven site management experience, and a track record of managing safety operations across large-scale construction environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the overall HSE function across major construction packages.
- Develop and implement project-specific HSE strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, client requirements, and international HSE standards.
- Provide leadership and direction to HSE teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Drive safety culture, risk management, incident prevention, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct audits, inspections, investigations, and corrective action management.
- Work closely with project leadership, consultants, and stakeholders to achieve HSE objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or any related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 15 years' HSE experience on major infrastructure, heavy civil, rail, or mega construction projects, including previous experience as an HSE Head, Senior HSE Manager, or Project HSE Manager.
- Proven experience overseeing complex construction activities such as TBM tunnelling, underground stations, elevated viaducts, and precast yard/factory operations.
- Strong leadership experience managing large HSE teams, contractors, and multiple project stakeholders within EPC environments.
- Excellent knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, ISO management systems, risk management, incident investigation, and international HSE best practices.
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH Diploma, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, CMIOSH, GradIOSH, CSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
