Read technicaldrawings and set up the machines in accordance with the blueprints
Use computersoftware to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly
Responsible ofsetting the machine to meet the First Article base on the customer drawing,tolerance and dimensions
Perform qualityassurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications
Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality
Choosing and loading the correct tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly
Trouble shoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise
Perform basicmachine maintenance such as cleaning and sharpening
Responsible of providing and guide the operators on how to properly operate CNC machines and programs, and to use the gauges to check the critical dimensions for all parts.
