Your tasks

Network Infrastructure & Security

• Manage, configure, and maintain company networks, firewalls, routers, switches, and network infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain firewall security policies, access control rules, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Configure and monitor Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS).
• Maintain secure and isolated network environments for sensitive client projects and confidential content.
• Monitor network traffic, identify vulnerabilities, and investigate suspicious activities.
• Perform regular firewall rule reviews, security updates, and network security assessments.

Data Security & Content Protection

• Protect confidential company and client data against unauthorized access, leakage, theft, and cyber threats.
• Implement and enforce data access controls, encryption, and secure file transfer procedures.
• Maintain secure storage environments, backup systems, and data recovery procedures.
• Manage user permissions, authentication, and access to sensitive production systems.
• Ensure secure handling, storage, transfer, and deletion of confidential digital content.
• Support compliance with client security requirements and industry-standard content protection practices.

Security Monitoring & Compliance

• Maintain security event logs, monitoring systems, and alert mechanisms.
• Conduct periodic security reviews, vulnerability assessments, and system hardening.
• Prepare technical documentation, security reports, and audit evidence for internal reviews and client security assessments.
• Assist with security questionnaires, compliance assessments, and external penetration testing activities.
• Investigate security incidents and implement preventive and corrective measures.
• Maintain and improve IT security policies and standard operating procedures.

IT Operations & Technical Support

• Manage day-to-day IT operations, including workstations, servers, operating systems, networking equipment, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
• Provide technical support to internal users and production teams.
• Maintain hardware and software inventories, system documentation, and IT asset records.
• Ensure reliable system performance, regular maintenance, updates, and timely issue resolution.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to IT infrastructure, performance, reliability, and security.

Requirements

About the Role We are looking for a skilled, proactive, and security-focused IT Infrastructure & Security Specialist to manage and protect our company's IT infrastructure, network systems, and sensitive digital assets.

We need someone who can do more than troubleshoot computers — someone who understands cybersecurity risks, takes ownership of IT infrastructure, and proactively identifies and prevents potential security threats.

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, network administration, system administration, or cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, NAT, and firewall configurations.
• Practical experience configuring and managing firewalls, preferably pfSense or OPNsense.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, network segmentation, intrusion detection/prevention, and endpoint security.
• Proficiency in administering and troubleshooting Windows and Linux systems; familiarity with macOS is an advantage.
• Experience with network monitoring, security logging, backup management, and access control.
• Understanding of vulnerability management, system hardening, and security incident response.
• Familiarity with secure data storage and file transfer practices.
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting abilities, and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently, take ownership of technical issues, and proactively identify potential risks.
• Good technical English comprehension, particularly for documentation, troubleshooting, and security requirements.
• Willing to work full-time, on-site, with flexible working hours to support operational and security needs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with pfSense, OPNsense, Suricata, or Snort.
• Experience implementing network isolation, VLAN segmentation, and restricted-access environments.
• Familiarity with SIEM, centralized logging, network traffic analysis, and security alerting tools.
• Experience preparing IT security documentation, audit reports, and evidence for client security reviews.
• Familiarity with NAS, secure storage infrastructure, data backup, and disaster recovery.
• Cybersecurity or networking certifications are an advantage.
