Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW)

Responsibilities: Schedule Annual Sub Station servicing Attend Sub Station servicing Attend to refurbishment and upgradation project related matters Supervise Additions and Alterations at Sub Station Main Switch Board and LV Distribution Boards Testing and Commissioning of new electrical installation, Modification works, Additions and Alterations to existing installation Supervise Lightning Protection Test and provide Lightning Protection Test Report Make Minor amendments to Existing SLDs using AutoCAD Attend to Standby Generators servicing and schedule to repair and defects encountered Carried out Preventive Maintenance as per the schedule on Electrical System Attend routine inspection and day to day operation of Electrical System Requirements: Diploma/Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering Possess Grade 8 Electrician’s Licence from EMA with at least 5 years’ relevant work experience Hands-on experience in troubleshooting electrical equipment Location is at Singapore Polytechnic 5.5 days
