Quantity Surveyor

Your tasks

1. Prepare quotations and cost estimates for powder coating jobs.
2. Calculate surface areas, quantities and material requirements based on customer drawings and specifications.
3. Review technical drawings and project specifications to determine job requirements.
4. Calculate powder coating costs, including materials, labour and other production expenses.
5. Prepare invoices, delivery orders and progress claims where applicable.
6. Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding quotations, pricing and job requirements.
7. Source and compare supplier quotations for powder coating materials and related services.
8. Monitor job costs and ensure quotations are accurate and competitive.
9. Maintain proper records of quotations, orders and costing.
10. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

1. Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or a related field.
2. Preferably 1–2 years of relevant working experience.
3. Experience in powder coating, metal fabrication or manufacturing industry will be an advantage.
4. Able to read and understand technical drawings.
5. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
6. Good numerical, analytical and communication skills.
7. Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
8. Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.
