Job description

Roles & responsibilities

The HSE Supervisor is responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies at the workplace. The role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, promotes a strong safety culture, and minimizes risks to employees, contractors, and the environment.

Key responsibilities:

Enforce company HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.

Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety regulations.

Monitor workplace activities to ensure safe work practices are followed.

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports and recommend improvements.

Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions.

Maintain HSE documentation, records, and reports.

Coordinate emergency response drills and procedures.

Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities on safety matters.
