OVERVIEW Full-time/Permanent Employee Location: Arlington, VA Aether Aerospace is seeking Industrial Security Specialists as a part of a Bid & Proposal effort. Industrial Security Specialists provide support to the customer in establishing security requirements for OCONUS Maintenance Repair Overhaul & Update (MRO&U), Depot, and Supply Warehouse facilities for assigned operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES Provide management and oversight of all activities performed to support the protection of classified information developed by or entrusted to U.S industry operating under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
Brief and coordinate SAP and collateral security requirements for USAF, USN, USMC, and international bed down sites and provide accurate data at all 35%, 65% and 95% design reviews
Communicate secure facility construction and accreditation technical security standards and provide accurate data at all 35%, 65% and 95% design reviews
Maintain and monitor security activities at bed down locations until facilities receive accreditation
Identify security clearance and SAP access requirements at bed down locations
Assist the services in defining facility and infrastructure requirement to meet F-35 bed down for all sites
Coordinate and participate in the development of CONUS and OCONUS Facilities Requirements Documents (FRDs) and document results
KEY QUALIFICATIONS Clearance: Active Secret Clearance
Thorough knowledgeable of multiple DoD and Services' security references, regulations and instructions pertaining to activity, physical and information security.
In-depth knowledge of the NISPOM and JAFAN series security requirements
Ability to constructively engage and resolve challenging situations
Available to work before/after typical office hours as work may demand
Independent self-starter, proactive and professional assertive
Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy
Proficiency with MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Superior verbal/written skills and presentation skills
Ability to multitask
