ARCHITECTURAL DRAFTSMAN

Position Title: BIM Modeler Department: Engineering / Project Operations Assignment: Building, Infrastructure, Heavy, and Light Projects Location: Project Site / Office Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled BIM Modeler who will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining accurate Building Information Modeling (BIM) models based on design drawings, specifications, and project requirements. The role will support the engineering and construction teams by providing coordinated 3D models and technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities

Create and develop accurate 3D BIM models based on approved design drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Develop and maintain BIM models for architectural, structural, civil, and/or MEPF disciplines , depending on project requirements. Prepare and update BIM models based on design revisions, site conditions, and approved changes. Review drawings and technical documents to ensure accuracy and consistency of BIM models. Coordinate BIM models among different disciplines and identify clashes or design conflicts. Perform clash detection and coordination and assist in resolving identified issues. Generate drawings, layouts, schedules, and other required documentation from BIM models. Coordinate with Engineers, Architects, BIM Coordinators, Project Managers, and other project stakeholders. Incorporate approved design changes and ensure that model revisions are properly documented. Assist in preparing shop drawings, as-built models, and construction documentation. Ensure BIM models comply with project BIM standards, naming conventions, Level of Development (LOD), and documentation requirements. Maintain proper organization and version control of BIM files and related documents. Participate in BIM coordination meetings and provide technical support when required. Assist in improving BIM workflows and modeling standards within the project team. Perform other BIM-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements: Qualifications

Graduate of Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field. At least 1–3 years of experience as a BIM Modeler in the construction, engineering, or architectural industry. Proficient in Autodesk Revit. Knowledge of Navisworks and BIM coordination/clash detection is an advantage. Knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred. Experience in creating models for Architectural, Structural, Civil, or MEPF disciplines is an advantage. Ability to read and interpret engineering, architectural, and construction drawings. Knowledge of BIM standards, modeling practices, and construction documentation. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work with multidisciplinary project teams. Willing to be assigned to project sites or office-based project teams , depending on project requirements. Preferred Skills
