Position Details
Title: Audio-Visual Technician
Location: Valhalla, NY (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Pay Rate: $29.19 per hour
What You'll Do
As an Audio-Visual Technician , you will provide advanced support for a variety of audio and video technologies while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Set up, operate, and break down multi-camera systems and audiovisual equipment.
Support onsite, hybrid, and remote meetings and events.
Install, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and upgrade A/V equipment and cabling.
Configure wireless networking and synchronization channels for data acquisition.
Manage and maintain onsite audiovisual equipment inventory and report equipment needs.
Install equipment in various environments, including climbing and moving equipment when required.
Map software to network drives and transfer large files across storage platforms.
Configure and modify customer equipment to meet specific business needs.
Perform basic video editing, including cutting, titling, audio adjustments, and codec management.
Complete service reports and required documentation accurately and promptly.
Provide professional, face-to-face customer support while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
Associate degree from an accredited two-year college or technical institution, plus one year of related experience; or
An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Technical Skills
This isn't just an equipment support role. You'll be a key contributor to how teams communicate and collaborate every day.
As an Audio-Visual Technician, you'll:
