Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Tasks:

• Determine the size of food portions and costs.
• Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization.
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
• Order supplies and equipment.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
• Clean kitchen and work areas.
• Manage kitchen operations.

Experience:

2 years to less than 3 years.

Support for newcomers and refugees:

Assists with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees (for example: housing, transportation, storage, childcare, winter clothing, etc.).

Support for youths:

Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth.

Support for Indigenous people:

Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers .

Supports for visible minorities:

Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities (for example: anonymizing the hiring process, etc.).
