Member of Technical Staff, Product (AI Agents)
ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a well-funded, early-stage B2B SaaS company bringing AI agents to a highly specialised professional services industry. In this hands-on engineering role you will turn real-world workflow observations into production-grade AI automations that save practitioners hours of repetitive manual effort. You'll work directly with customers, own systems end-to-end, and ship fast — experimentation and measurable impact are core to how the team operates.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and build AI agents that autonomously perform observed, repetitive workflows.
- Work closely with customers to understand their operations and surface high-value automation opportunities.
- Own production AI agents across the full lifecycle: build, deploy, monitor, and continuously improve.
- Run structured experiments with new models and techniques, benchmark results, and ship what works.
- Ship automations that deliver measurable efficiency gains for end users.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must-haves (dealbreakers):
- 5+ years of experience in ML/AI product development building and delivering production-grade AI agents.
- Proven track record shipping LLM-based systems in production.
- End-to-end ownership of production AI agents (build → deploy → monitor → improve).
Required skills & experience:
- Strong Python programming skills with hands-on experience deploying LLMs and AI agents at production scale.
- Experience turning observed workflows into deployable AI automations and delivering complete end-to-end AI solutions.
- Comfortable engaging directly with customers to gather requirements and iterate on solutions.
- Product-minded approach to designing AI × Human interfaces and practical automation systems.
Nice to have:
- Experience designing interfaces for human–AI collaboration.
- Structured experimentation with new models/techniques and benchmarking methodologies.
- Observability and monitoring for AI systems (metrics, dashboards, alerts).
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in early-stage, fast-moving teams.
