Payroll Specialist

  • Process monthly payroll for all employees with accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Verify and calculate salaries, benefits, bonuses, overtime, deductions, and taxes.
  • Manage off-cycle/amendments payments, including new hires, terminations, and special adjustments.
  • Ensure full compliance with labor and tax regulations.
  • Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Egyptian tax, labor, and social insurance regulations.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all payroll actions in accordance with audit and compliance standards.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding salaries, deductions, and tax-related matters.
  • Support internal and external payroll audits by providing documentation and reports.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for payroll activities.
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency in payroll operations.
  • Coordinate with Finance to ensure smooth payroll execution and reporting.

Undertake additional duties as assigned by line manager.

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: 2–3 years of experience in payroll processing and administration, preferably within a large organization or higher education institution Technical Skills: · Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor laws and tax regulations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HR/payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Experience using the Egyptian Tax Portal for submissions and reconciliations.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
