Company Description Our Client is a bakery in Surulere Lagos specializing in the production and sale of a variety of freshly baked goods, including banana bread, pastries, and other baked delicacies.
Your tasks
Position: Production/Bakery Assistant
- Assist with the preparation and production of banana bread, loaves, and other baked goods.
- Measure, weigh, and mix ingredients accurately according to established recipes.
- Follow production procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper hygiene throughout the production process.
- Package and label finished products appropriately.
- Monitor ingredients and supplies and report shortages when necessary.
- Clean and organise baking equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient daily operations.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO.
- Previous experience in baking, catering, food production, or a related field is an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and good time-management skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team.
- Must be neat, organised, punctual, honest, and reliable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to food hygiene and safety standards.
- A genuine interest in baking and food production is an added advantage.
- a positive attitude toward continuous improvement.
