Power BI Developer / Data Visualization Specialist

Key responsibilities

Dashboard development: Design and build user-friendly Power BI reports, dashboards, and visual elements.

Data modeling: Clean, shape, and model raw data using Power Query and data modeling best practices.

DAX calculations: Write Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for advanced aggregate, date, logical, and table calculations.

Data integration: Connect Power BI securely to various data sources like SQL databases, cloud services, and Excel.

Stakeholder collaboration: Work with business teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical BI solutions.

Optimization: Monitor and optimize report performance, data flows, and dashboard responsiveness.

Requirements

Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, data analytics, statistics, or a related field.

Technical stack: Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query (M language), and SQL.

Core knowledge: Solid understanding of relational databases, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

Design sense: Strong grasp of data visualization principles, color theory, and clear data storytelling.

Soft skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and clear communication skills to explain technical insights to non-technical users.
