Location:

This role is based in Woodinville, WA and requires you to work onsite 4 days per week , with 1 day remote .

To be considered, you must live within commuting distance , as regular in-person collaboration is a key part of the role.

Job Summary:

The Senior Global Sourcing Specialist is responsible for leading sourcing strategy, supplier management, and end-to-end execution of product orders across custom hardgoods and softgoods (e.g., vinyl figures, plush, drinkware, totes).

This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and is expected to manage complex and high-impact projects while proactively identifying risks, influencing cross-functional decisions, and driving on-time delivery.

In addition to execution excellence, this role plays a key leadership function—anticipating business needs, ensuring stakeholder alignment, and holding both internal and external partners accountable to key milestones. This position has the potential to evolve into a people management role, with opportunities to mentor team members and lead direct reports.

Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field

5–8+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, custom goods production - required

Demonstrated experience managing complex or high-volume programs independently

Experience working with overseas manufacturers (China/Asia preferred) - required

Experience in supplier negotiations (Pricing, MOQs, timelines, trade-offs, ect) - required

Experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

Prior experience mentoring others or leading projects preferred

Experience with custom products (hardgoods, plush, luxury or similar) strongly preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead sourcing strategy and execution for assigned categories or key programs

Manage multiple and complex projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment to cost, quality, and timeline expectations

Proactively identify risks, escalate issues early, and drive resolution to protect production timelines and on-time delivery

Partner cross-functionally (PD, Sales, Logistics, Finance) to ensure alignment on timelines, specs, and deliverables

Influence decision-making by providing clear recommendations grounded in data and sourcing expertise

Hold internal stakeholders and suppliers accountable to key milestones, deliverables, and SLA expectations

Drive supplier selection, onboarding, and performance management with a strategic lens

Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and production terms to meet business and margin targets

Oversee production timelines end-to-end; ensure issues are addressed before impacting delivery

Validate and manage landed cost (ELC), proactively identifying variances and improvement opportunities

Support development and implementation of sourcing SOPs and best practices

Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on sourcing processes and execution

Potentially manage direct reports as the role evolves

Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, supplier data, and project tracking

Drive continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing and cross-functional workflows

We are pleased to share the base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $125,000. If you are hired at BDA, your compensation will be determined based on factors that may include geographic location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any offer. In the spirit of pay transparency, the range listed is the full base salary range for the role and hiring at the top of the range would not be typical, in order to allow for future salary growth. The range listed is just one component of BDA’s total compensation and rewards programs, which includes: robust PTO; vacation, a paid volunteer day, holidays and summer Fridays, Benefits; medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, 401k; tuition reimbursement, mental health and financial wellness programs and professional development opportunities including tuition reimbursement.
