A Senior Reliability Engineer effectively applies a wide variety of reliability techniques to a diverse range of industries and manages projects from beginning to end to meet customer expectations and all project deliverables. The Senior Reliability Engineer works as part of a team and often as a team leader, to lead and influence fellow engineers.
Responsibilities
Apply a wide variety of reliability techniques across diverse industries and client organizations.
Manage projects and demonstrate leadership capabilities in influencing and developing others.
Act as an advisor and coach/trainer in a wide variety of reliability methods and approaches.
Actively engage in business development with a deep understanding of different approaches to ASM and APM and how to identify the optimal outcomes for client success.
Lead by example and create multiple options to achieve optimal outcomes, demonstrating behaviours that enhance the success of others.
Work as part of a team and often as a team leader, to lead and influence fellow engineers and consultants.
Apply broad knowledge of principles and practices in a specific practice area.
Independently evaluate, select, and adapt standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Acquire general knowledge of principles and practices of related fields and function on multidisciplinary teams.
Work on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
At least 5 years of industry experience in a maintenance/reliability role gained in mining, processing, oil & gas, utilities, or manufacturing.
Experience in the application of reliability methods and techniques gained within relevant industry.
Experience in data analysis including extraction from various data sources, with the ability to summarize data into conclusions.
Experience in managing projects and demonstrating skills in all project elements including timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
Experience in managing and coaching a team.
Experience in the preparation and delivery of professional presentations.
Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal and present confidently to a diverse demographic from hourly employees to senior executives.
CRE and/or CAMA2 certification (highly desirable).
