Job overview

We are seeking an experienced and qualified consultant psychiatrist to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive psychiatric care, manage complex mental health conditions, and contribute to multidisciplinary treatment planning and patient wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of psychiatric and mental health conditions.

Develop individualized treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy, where qualified.

Manage complex psychiatric cases and provide crisis intervention when required.

Conduct psychiatric evaluations, risk assessments, and follow-up consultations.

Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.

Provide patient and family counselling and education.

Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols.

Contribute to clinical education, quality improvement, and evidence-based psychiatric practice.

Requirements

Qualifications

Medical degree with recognized postgraduate qualification in psychiatry.

Valid DHA eligibility or license, or eligibility to obtain one.

Relevant post-specialization clinical experience at consultant level.

Strong knowledge of current psychiatric assessment and treatment protocols.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary mental health team.
