Procurement Officer
Responsibilities:
Manage the procurement process from PR preparation, supplier quotations, approvals, PO creation, GRN, and payment follow-up. Source, evaluate, negotiate, and manage suppliers locally and internationally. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance. Procure raw materials, spare parts, equipment, and services based on business requirements. Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Stores, Finance, and other departments. Monitor inventory requirements and ensure timely availability of materials. Review quotations, invoices, purchase orders, and procurement documentation. Coordinate imports, shipments, customs clearance, and delivery to the warehouse. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with NAFDAC, SONCAP, Form M, PAAR, Customs, and other import requirements. Maintain accurate procurement and import records for audit and compliance purposes.
Requirements:
HND in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 3–4 years’ procurement experience, preferably within FMCG/manufacturing. Good knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, negotiation, and inventory coordination Experience with local and international sourcing/import procurement. Knowledge of Nigerian import procedures and documentation. Strong analytical, organizational, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/ERP systems.
