Lifting Inspector

Key responsibilities

• Perform inspection of lifting equipment, lifting accessories and earth moving equipment as per applicable international standards BS, EN, ASME and local regulations.
• Conduct training for lifting equipment operators, riggers, scaffolders etc.

• Identifying defects and unsafe conditions.
• Verifying compliance with applicable standards and manufacturer requirements.

• Preparing detailed inspection reports and certificates.
• Providing professional recommendations to ensure the safe operation of lifting equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in lifting equipment inspection & certification.

• Relevant certification in lifting equipment inspection (minimum 3 LEEA certifications preferred).
• Candidates with transferable iqama and valid KSA driving license will be considered.

Skills

• Practical understanding and strong knowledge of international standards, BS, EN, ASME and local regulations.
• Proven practical experience in the inspection, examination and testing of lifting equipment.

• Ability to follow procedures and technical instructions accurately.
• Ability to prepare accurate inspection reports and identify defects.

• Ability to explain inspection activities during audits.
