About the role The Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) will support the Group Safety Manager in overseeing and maintaining Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) standards across the Company's M&E construction projects. The role provides independent WSH oversight across multiple project sites, working closely with Project Managers, site teams and WSH Coordinators to ensure consistent implementation of Company safety standards and compliance with statutory, Main Contractor and client requirements. Key responsibilities Oversee and monitor WSH compliance and safety performance across the Company's M&E project sites

Guide and support site WSH Coordinators in implementing Company and project WSH requirements

Conduct regular site inspections and audits, identify unsafe acts, conditions and areas for improvement, and follow through on corrective actions

Monitor compliance with approved Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), Permit-to-Work (PTW) requirements and other applicable WSH controls

Work closely with Project Managers, supervisors and site teams to identify and address safety risks associated with M&E and construction activities

Participate in joint site inspections, safety walks, audits and coordination meetings with Main Contractors, clients and other project stakeholders

Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses, conduct root-cause analysis and ensure appropriate corrective and preventive actions are implemented

Review WSH records, inspection reports, training records and statutory documentation to ensure proper standards are maintained across projects

Identify recurring WSH issues and trends and provide recommendations and updates to the Group Safety Manager

Support WSH training, safety programmes and initiatives to promote a strong and consistent safety culture across project sites
