-NEW- 6 Months Underwriting Specialist (New Business)

Job Responsibilities: ·       Tagged within New Business Team ·       Strategic allocation of cases, considering factors such as case complexity, workload, and stakeholder expertise. ·       Ensure the smooth and equitable distribution of cases to stakeholders, optimizing workloads for efficient case clearance. ·       Collaborate with stakeholders, including team leads, to understand their needs and preference for case allocation, and communicates allocation decision effectively. ·       Handling administrative tasks (eg: distribution of cases, monthly audit checking)assigned by team leads while ensuring service standards and quality checks are consistently met. ·       Performing underwriting profiling for new business cases to support consistent risk assessment and improve underwriting processing efficiency. Supporting underwriting-related projects, including attending meetings, planning, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. ·       Working with cross-functional teams to provide timely support and services to internal & external customers and ensure that underwriting process are accurate and compliant to internal policy and regulatory requirements. ·       Provide ongoing support to stakeholders, responding promptly to their requests and addressing any issues or concerns. ·       Regular analyze case allocation data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement and make recommendations. ·       Provide timely support and services to internal & external customers to meet the target service level agreement (SLA) ·       Adhoc tasks and projects as assigned Job Requirements ·       Minimum Diploma in a related discipline ·       Minimum 1year of relevant underwriting/insurance experience ·       Able to start immediately or within short notice
