Financial Controller - Dutch Entity

Interim Financial Controller - Dutch Entity 6-Month Contract | Day Rate | London / Hybrid

I am currently partnering with a global, ecommerce business to recruit an experienced Interim Financial Controller for an initial 6-month day-rate assignment.

This is a hands-on role taking ownership of the financial control and reporting for the Dutch entity . You will work within an international finance function, partnering closely with both local and Group stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, strong controls and a smooth month-end process.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Taking ownership of financial control for the Dutch entity
• Leading the month-end close and ensuring reporting is delivered accurately and within tight deadlines
• Managing balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining strong financial controls
• Ensuring compliance with local accounting and statutory requirements
• Working closely with FP&A, Payroll, HR and wider Finance teams
• Supporting Group reporting and providing clear insight into market performance
• Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and controls
• Acting as the key finance contact for the Dutch market during the assignment

The ideal candidate will have:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent accounting qualification
• Strong post-qualified experience within Financial Control
• Previous experience managing or working with a Dutch entity
• Experience within retail, FMCG, consumer or e-commerce environments is highly desirable
• Strong month-end, reconciliations and financial reporting experience
• Experience working within a complex, international or multi-entity organisation
• Dutch language skills would be advantageous but are not essential
• A hands-on approach with the ability to operate effectively in a changing environment

6-month initial contract | Day rate | Immediate / September start
