AI Engineer
We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled AI Engineer to join our team and support the development of AI-driven business solutions, workflow automation and enterprise system integration. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining AI-powered applications that enhance operational efficiency across departments The role will also support the implementation, migration and optimisation of internal software, ensuring seamless integration between our AI applications and existing business systems. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, IT personnel and external vendors to understand business requirements, develop practical solutions and support the Company's digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- AI Application Development & Business Process Automation
Design, develop, implement and maintain AI-powered applications to automate and improve business processes across various departments.
Analyse existing workflows, identify operational challenges and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Develop and enhance AI-assisted product sourcing, quotation generation, sales order processing and document management functions.
Design and implement business logic for product identification, data matching and integration with existing ERP systems.
Conduct research on suitable AI technologies, tools and automation solutions to support business requirements.
Evaluate application performance, identify opportunities for improvement and implement enhancements to improve accuracy, efficiency and user experience.
- AI Solutions & Business Process Automation
Design, develop and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency and streamline business processes across departments.
Analyse existing workflows, identify opportunities for automation and translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
Develop and enhance AI-powered applications for data processing, document management, workflow automation and enterprise system integration.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure the accuracy, reliability and effectiveness of developed solutions.
Conduct system testing, troubleshoot technical issues and implement improvements to optimise application performance and user experience.
Provide user demonstrations, training and ongoing technical support to facilitate the successful adoption of AI applications.
Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify opportunities to improve business efficiency through innovation and digital transformation.
- ERP Integration & System Implementation
Support the software implementation, migration and optimisation, including cloud migration initiatives.
Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are completed according to agreed timelines.
Assist in system configuration, user access management, approval workflows and software licence administration.
Support data migration, system integration and data integrity verification.
Coordinate UAT across various departments and other relevant departments.
Assist in planning system downtime, user briefings, training and go-live activities.
Troubleshoot system issues, coordinate vendor support and implement improvements to ensure system stability and operational continuity.
- Project Coordination & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather business requirements, establish project priorities and develop implementation plans.
Coordinate with external vendors on project scope, technical requirements, implementation schedules and support arrangements.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, system workflows and project records.
Provide ongoing technical support, resolve application issues and implement system enhancements.
Identify opportunities to improve business efficiency through AI, automation and digital solutions.
Requirements Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science or a related discipline.
Preferably 2–3 years of relevant experience in AI application development, software engineering, business process automation or enterprise system integration.
Proficiency in Python and experience developing software applications or automation solutions.
Knowledge of AI technologies, machine learning concepts, large language models (LLMs) and their practical applications in business environments.
Experience with API integration, database management and data processing.
Understanding of software development methodologies, system testing, debugging and application deployment.
Experience in ERP systems, business process automation or enterprise application integration would be an advantage.
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, including system configuration, data migration or integration, would be an advantage.
Experience in developing AI-powered business applications, document processing solutions or workflow automation would be an advantage.
