Splicing and termination for fiber optic cables and supervision for fiber optic cables related works and testing for the fiber optic cables after splicing or termination with OTDR and power meter.
Key accountability areas
- Splicing: responsible for fiber optic cables splicing with different types of single mode and multimode indoor, outdoor, underground, and OPGW cables.
- Cable preparation: responsible for fiber optic cables preparation and arrangement according to standards to be ready for splicing.
- Termination/connectorization: responsible for termination work for fiber optic cables in our projects with different types of connectors (FC, ST, LC, SC) for all fiber optic single mode and multimode cables with different types of termination (hot melt and epoxy polish).
- Troubleshooting: responsible for fiber optic cables troubleshooting after splicing to clear any faults to be ready for final testing.
- Testing: responsible for local testing with OTDR and power meter for fiber optic cables after splicing and ensuring readiness for final testing with witness.
- Safety: follows the full safety requirements for our main clients.
- Job location: responsible for fiber optic work in all our projects all over the kingdom along with our team.
- Supervision: supervises the site team in pulling and arranging the fiber optic cables before splicing to ensure that cables are healthy, as per standards, and all our requirements are fulfilled.

Requirements
Academic qualification Diploma in electrical engineering from an electrical institute.
