Controls Engineer

Job Description

Design hardware systems based on input information and deliver motor list, IO list, FDS, safety requirements, short-circuit/voltage drop calculations, protection selection, cable sizing, communication networks design, etc.

Design and produce electrical devices layout and schematic drawings using AutoCAD, EPlan P8, etc.

Design PLC programs according to the system description and functionality.

Configure PLC hardware and industrial networks such as Profibus, Profinet, ASi, CAN, Ethernet, etc.

Design HMI programming using Allen Bradley FactoryTalk View, WinCC Flexible, or Vijeo Designer to monitor and control different system components.

Design SCADA programs to monitor and control different system components.

Perform pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and standby support.

Requirements

Education: Engineering in Communication, Power, or Mechatronics.

Years of experience: 2+

Must have American citizenship, Green Card, or visa.
