Sustainability Manager

Role purpose: Lead sustainability consulting engagements that help clients assess, design, and implement measurable environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies, ensuring regulatory alignment and business value.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end client projects, including scoping, workplans, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications.
• Develop ESG and sustainability strategies, roadmaps, and targets (e.g., net zero, decarbonization, circularity, responsible sourcing).
• Conduct materiality assessments, baseline emissions inventories, and impact/risk analyses to inform decision-making.
• Support sustainability reporting and disclosure readiness (e.g., CSRD, GRI, SASB/ISSB, TCFD), including data collection and controls.
• Translate complex sustainability requirements into actionable recommendations, deliverables, and executive-ready presentations.
• Lead and mentor consultants; coordinate cross-functional teams and subject matter experts.
• Contribute to business development through proposals, client relationship management, and thought leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in sustainability/ESG consulting or corporate sustainability program management.
• Strong project management, client advisory, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of GHG accounting and decarbonization approaches; familiarity with Scope 1-3 concepts.
