Your tasks
- Deliver stock to outlets and customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Check goods against delivery orders before loading and delivery.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, correctly and on schedule.
- Maintain delivery records, obtain signatures/acknowledgements and report any delivery issues.
- Load and unload goods carefully, ensuring items are handled properly.
- Perform basic warehouse duties when there is no delivery schedule, such as receiving, packing, sorting and organising stock.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the delivery vehicle.
- Follow company procedures, road safety rules and delivery schedules.
Requirements
- Valid driving licence.
- Prior delivery or warehouse experience is an advantage.
- Able to load and unload goods.
- Responsible, punctual and able to work independently.
- Good attitude, customer-service mindset and attention to detail.
- Able to work flexible hours when required.
