POSITION SUMMARY The Retail Associate II collaborates with the dispensary’s management team to ensure every guest receives the highest level of hospitality and experiences cannabis in the best way possible. As the Subject Matter Expert(SME) priorities include assisting the team with answering questions about the state’s cannabis program and regulations, helping train employees in all FOH workstations(Reception, Hosting, Sales Floor/Consulting, and Cashiering) and BOH workstations (Receiving, Packaging, Stocking, Online Ordering, Order Dispatching, and Delivering)workstations. The Retail Associate II leads the team by example and assists the management team with ensuring product organization, inventory control, and guest communication follow site standards.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Follow all site protocols and procedures according to local and state regulations and company policies

Act as a Mission brand ambassador with a high level of authentic engagement and strong productivity

Provide excellent service to all guests while customizing recommendations on available cannabis products, industry trends, and consumption methods

Fulfill all product orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining work stations cleaned and organized

Follow proper cash handling of all guest transactions

Partners with management to assist with all the site’s training needs including: new hire, ongoing, and state-mandated training

Assist in all duties as assigned to ensure the team, department, and company division maintain success

POSITION SCHEDULE Open availability required for scheduling

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Excellent customer service experience (preferably in a fast paced or specialized retail environment)

Proficient cash handling skillswith POS systems experience

Basic math, organizational, and computer Skills

Self-starter who can take instructions, follow directions, and work independently/with colleagues

Strong communicator, detail-oriented, multi-tasker, problem-solver, flexible, friendly, and self-aware

Committed to the team’s success

QUALIFICATIONS 21+ and currently residing in the USA

High School Diploma or GED

Dispensing Organization Agent Identification Card (obtained upon hire)

Retail experience,2+ years (preferred)

Cannabis industry experience, 1+ years (preferred)

WORKING CONDITIONS Work involves physical exertion such as bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), kneeling, squatting, pivoting, and carrying items/ product on a regular basis. Employees will be required to stand for extended periods and may need to climb ladders or operate equipment. The warehouse/ facility environment may be subject to hot and cold temperatures, and ventilation may not be available in all areas. The warehouse/ facility environment may be subject to elevated noise volumes due to equipment, machinery, and the movement of goods. The warehouse/ facility may be subject to dirt, dust, cleaning solutions, chemicals, and debris from the handling of goods. The warehouse/ facility may have safety hazards such as slippery floors, moving equipment, and the presence of hazardous materials. You will need to follow safety protocols and wear appropriate protective equipment.
