System Analyst (IT)

IT System Analyst

This role is dedicated to analyzing, designing, and supporting trading solutions, including FIX engines, Order Management Systems (OMS), market data feeds, and execution gateways, across multi-asset classes including stocks, derivatives, FX, and cryptocurrency.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Analysis & Design: Gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional and technical specifications, and design system solutions that align with trading and operational needs.
2. Incident & Problem Analysis: Investigate critical incidents, perform root cause analysis of recurring issues, and recommend preventive or corrective solutions.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise between business users, developers, vendors, and IT teams to ensure solutions meet requirements and are delivered effectively.
4. System Monitoring & Stability: Monitor applications to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability, and proactively address potential issues.
5. Testing & Validation: Coordinate and participate in regression testing, UAT, and validation of production fixes and enhancements.
6. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve support services, incident management, and system workflows, and contribute to documentation and knowledge management.
7. Implementation Support: Work with developers to implement enhancements, software upgrades, and system integrations.

Qualifications

1. Proven experience in IT System Analysis, Development, Application Support, or Technical Support.
2. Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting capabilities.
3. Experience coordinating with stakeholders and working in cross-functional teams.
4. Proficiency in identifying and solving application-related issues efficiently.
5. Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
6. Demonstrated experience in driving process improvement initiatives (e.g., incident management, knowledge management, or automation of manual tasks).
7. Hands-on exposure to software testing processes, including regression testing, UAT coordination, or validating production fixes.
8. Knowledge of C/C++ programming and Python is an advantage.
9. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
10. Prior experience in financial technology or trading software is a strong advantage.
