Veramed is recruiting a Senior CMC Statistician to join our growing Functional Service Provider (FSP) team, supporting a leading global pharmaceutical organisation.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced statistician looking to apply advanced quantitative methods to a broad range of scientific and technical challenges. Working within a highly collaborative environment, you'll partner directly with scientists and researchers to influence key decisions across research, development and manufacturing programmes.

Unlike traditional statistics roles, this position offers exposure to a diverse range of scientific disciplines, data types and analytical approaches, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex real-world problems.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide statistical leadership and expertise across CMC and preclinical projects

Design studies and contribute to experimental strategy and hypothesis development

Perform end-to-end statistical analyses, including study design, analysis planning, data preparation, analysis and reporting

Develop bespoke analytical solutions and data analysis pipelines using modern statistical and programming tools

Apply advanced statistical methodologies to address complex scientific questions

Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure statistical approaches align with programme objectives

Identify and implement innovative analytical methods to enhance existing capabilities

Communicate risks, challenges and opportunities that may impact project delivery

We're interested in speaking with statisticians who have experience in one or more of the following areas:

Assay development and analysis

Industrial experimental design

Pharmaceutical sciences

Bayesian statistics

Frequentist statistics

Machine learning and artificial intelligence

Process development or manufacturing sciences

You do not need experience across all of these areas. We recognise that the ideal candidate is unlikely to possess every skill listed. We're looking for individuals with strong statistical foundations, intellectual curiosity and a passion for applying quantitative methods to complex scientific problems.

Experience within any of the following areas would be particularly valuable:

Signal processing

High-frequency data analysis

Electrophysiology

Digital health technologies

Glucose monitoring data

High-resolution imaging data analysis
