You will be responsible for preparing and presenting dishes to the highest standards, overseeing a section of the kitchen, and assisting the Sous Chef in managing daily functions. Your tasks

• prepare and cook menu items in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all dishes are of the highest quality;
• supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring that they follow all recipes and procedures correctly;
• maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations;
• communicate effectively with kitchen staff, front-of-house team, and suppliers;
• ensure that all food ingredients and supplies are properly stored and rotated;
• participate in menu planning and recipe development;
• maintain knowledge of new cooking techniques and ingredients;
• handle and resolve any kitchen-related issues in a professional and efficient manner.

Requirements

• proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-end restaurant or lounge setting;
• culinary skills and knowledge of Italian cuisine, with the ability to prepare and cook a wide range of dishes excellently and consistently;
• ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
• organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines;
• ability to lead and manage junior kitchen staff;
• interpersonal and communication skills;
• passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes;
