Uprite Construction is seeking an experienced Tilt Up Superintendent to lead field operations on large scale industrial, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, and commercial tilt up projects throughout the Sacramento region. This individual will oversee all onsite construction activities from project startup through final completion while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience delivering ground up tilt up concrete projects and is passionate about building strong teams, solving field challenges, and producing exceptional results.
What You'll Do:
Lead all daily field operations on ground up tilt up construction projects
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in collaboration with the Project Manager
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and field personnel throughout every phase of construction
Manage site logistics, manpower planning, equipment, and material deliveries
Oversee concrete operations, tilt panel erection, structural steel installation, roofing, and building enclosure activities
Conduct daily planning meetings, subcontractor meetings, and site safety meetings
Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and company expectations
Identify schedule risks and develop recovery plans to maintain project milestones
Monitor field productivity and ensure labor resources are effectively utilized
Coordinate inspections, testing, and jurisdictional requirements
Review and resolve field issues, RFIs, and constructability challenges with the project team
Maintain accurate daily reports, safety documentation, and project records in Procore
Foster a positive jobsite culture centered around safety, accountability, communication, and teamwork
Mentor Assistant Superintendents, Project Engineers, and field staff
What You'll Bring:
8 plus years of Superintendent experience with a commercial general contractor
Proven experience leading ground up tilt up construction projects
Experience delivering industrial, warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or large commercial facilities
Strong knowledge of concrete operations, tilt panel erection, structural steel, building envelope, and site development
Experience managing multiple subcontractors and large field crews
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and construction management software
OSHA 30 certification preferred
Willingness to travel to project sites throughout the Sacramento region as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with projects ranging from $20 million to $250 million plus
Background in industrial, advanced manufacturing, food processing, cold storage, or distribution facilities
Experience with design build delivery methods
LEED project experience is a plus
