SECURITY SPECIALIST

You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the Programs and Resources Department of HQ US MARINE CORPS . ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Major duties

• You will serve as a technical expert providing security support and participates in the analysis, make recommendations in personnel adjudications, physical facility protection, administrative and automated information systems policies and practices.
• You will conduct physical, Information System (IS) and administrative security reviews annually and prepares inquiry reports for submission to appropriate agencies.
• You will provide guidance to implementing security policy at contractor/government facilities relating to personnel clearance procedures, document storage, security classification, courier service, indoctrinations, and security education.
• You will conduct inquiry of reported security violations, and adjudicates reported discrepancies in accordance with DoD and DoN regulations.
• You will exercise initiative to formulate and improve security risk management policy guidance and support to both government/contracting facilities.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing, investigating and resolving a variety of primarily conventional security problems, issues, and conditions in the administration or the organizations security program.
