CONTRACT LIAISON SPECIALIST

You will serve as a CONTRACT LIAISON SPECIALIST in the Marine Corps University of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND.

Major duties

  • You will advise management on the evaluation of the effectiveness of programs and operations.
  • You will attend and conduct contracting meetings including needs analysis and contract strategy.
  • You will analyze gaps between requirements and funding authorizations, prioritize needs, and adjust procurements accordingly.
  • You will answer phones, take messages, greet guests, and accompany bidders, vendors, and contracting personnel through artifact and art storage spaces.
  • You will support and maintain a service culture that is high-quality, nimble, collaborative, and effective.

Qualifications

GS-09: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-07) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting research and analysis to prepare comprehensive and actionable contracting packages, including performance work statements, cost estimates, and market research reports. GS-11: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, coordinating, and serving as an acquisition liaison by developing procurement packages, conducting market research, applying policies, procuring goods and services, tracking budgets, and utilizing specialized methodologies to acquire museum preservation and artifact exhibition services and supplies.
