Systems Engineer (VMware, Backup, Cloud)

Highlights: Permanent job opportunity 5 days work week, normal office working hour Great remuneration & benefits Great career progression Location: Central Responsibilities: Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including Windows Servers, storage, backup systems, virtualization, and cloud platforms. Administer Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Azure, and AWS environments. Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis. Support virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix. Manage backup solutions (e.g. Veeam, Veritas) and ensure successful backup and recovery operations. Perform system patching, security updates, software licensing, and certificate management. Support cloud infrastructure, automation, and day-to-day IT operations. Maintain technical documentation, reports, and system configurations. Participate in 24/7 standby support and ensure SLA compliance. Collaborate with internal teams and support new technology implementations. Requirements: Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. With 2 – 4 years of experience in IT Operations, System Infrastructure, or Cloud Administration. Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Azure or AWS. Knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, backup solutions (Veeam/Veritas), TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. Basic understanding of networking and IT security. Relevant Microsoft, Azure, or AWS certifications are an advantage. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
