Solicitor

Responsibilities:

Provide Legal Advisory Services on commercial, corporate, and regulatory matters to support clients' business operations. Draft, Review, and Negotiate Legal Documents, including commercial contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments.

Conduct Legal Research and Ensure Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Support Bid and Tender Processes by reviewing tender documentation, identifying legal risks, and contributing to bid strategy development.

Assist Clients with Business Planning and Startup Analysis, including legal structuring and commercial feasibility assessments.

Handle Commercial Legal Matters relating to sectors such as oil and gas, marine, telecommunications, debt recovery, restructuring, and real estate.

Support Client Compliance Activities, including regulatory registrations, data audits, documentation, and recruitment-related legal processes where applicable.

Contribute to Business Growth by maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting the achievement of the firm's strategic and revenue objectives.

Requirements:

Minimum of a Bachelor of Laws degree from a university and the Nigerian Law School Minimum of 1-2 years post-bar experience. Proficient with commercial negotiation and familiar with business related to marine, oil and gas, debt recovery, restructuring, telecoms, commercial contracts, and real estate. Proficiency with business plan development and startup analysis. Analyzing the Bid/Tender documentation to create a bid tender strategy.

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 per month
