Project Engineer For Industrial Projects

TMA Cranes has been a leading Egyptian company in overhead cranes since 2007, with 600+ projects and 1,000+ cranes installed. We supply, install and maintain cranes and lifting components for factories across Egypt. We are looking for a sharp, hands-on Project Engineer who is a true multitasker, loves the work and can drive projects from kickoff to handover.
Your tasks
- Manage crane projects end to end: site survey, measurements, design coordination, procurement follow-up, installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
- Prepare and review shop drawings, technical submittals and BOQs.
- Plan and track project schedules, resources and costs, and report progress to management.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants and main contractors, and attend site meetings and approvals.
- Supervise installation teams and subcontractors on site, ensuring quality and safety standards.
- Follow up with suppliers on component deliveries (crane kits, hoists, busbars, remotes and similar).
- Conduct load tests and prepare test certificates and handover documents.
- Support the sales team with technical studies and offers when needed.
- Handle after-sales issues and maintenance coordination for delivered projects.
Requirements
- http://B.Sc. in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience as a project or site engineer in industrial projects (overhead cranes, material handling, steel structures or MEP is a strong plus).
- Ability to read and work with AutoCAD drawings and technical specifications.
- Good knowledge of project planning tools (MS Project or Primavera) and MS Office, especially Excel.
- Solid understanding of site safety, lifting operations and installation practices.
- Strong multitasking skills, able to run several projects at the same time.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills with clients, consultants and site teams.
- Self-driven, problem-solver and passionate about the work.
- Good English, written and spoken.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel to sites inside Egypt.
- Preferred age: up to 45 years.
