Senior / Staff Python Engineer

We're looking for Senior / Staff Python Engineer to join our client's project

Daily tasks

• Designing, developing and maintaining scalable backend services and applications using Python.
• Building and integrating APIs, services and data-driven solutions with a focus on reliability and maintainability.
• Designing and implementing cloud-native solutions on AWS, including distributed and event-driven architectures.
• Contributing to technical design, architecture decisions and engineering standards across the development lifecycle.
• Collaborating with distributed engineering teams, supporting code quality through testing and reviews, and mentoring less experienced engineers.

Requirements

Extensive commercial experience with Python and backend engineering Experience designing and building scalable / distributed systems Strong understanding of system architecture and technical design Strong hands-on AWS knowledge Experience with cloud-native architectures and technical trade-offs Ability to influence technical direction and engineering standards Experience mentoring or coaching other engineers Strong ownership mindset around reliability, maintainability and quality Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures and distributed systems will be highly relevant.
