Construction Accountant

Record and monitor project costs and expenses.

Prepare and review subcontractor payment certificates and settlements.

Track project budgets and analyze cost variances.

Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports.

Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable related to projects.

Assist in monthly and year-end closing processes.

Support project managers with financial analysis and cost reporting.

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and project management teams regarding project financial matters.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of experience in construction accounting.

Strong knowledge of construction accounting principles and job costing.

Experience with subcontractor accounts, payment certificates, and project cost control.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
