Billing Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a Billing Administrator to join a busy transaction team on a 12 month FTC This is a varied administration role, ideal for someone with experience in billing, finance, property administration or a similar environment. You will be responsible for ensuring billing is processed accurately and within agreed deadlines, while supporting a range of financial and administrative processes.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing lease renewals, lease assignments, new licences and data amendments.
  • Supporting rent reviews, turnover processes and residential leases.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date property records.
  • Preparing documentation for new properties, leases and associated changes.
  • Producing accurate completion statements.
  • Calculating, preparing and raising charges in line with contractual requirements.
  • Generating invoices across monthly, quarterly and annual billing cycles.
  • Processing weekly and monthly recharges, including utilities, car park income, Sunday trading and purchase ledger recharges.
  • Processing insurance invoices and generating corresponding charges.
  • Supporting service charge budgets and reconciliations.
  • Checking rent rolls, charges and system-generated records for accuracy.
  • Responding to queries from colleagues and other departments.
  • Working closely with Property Management, Finance, Insurance and other teams to resolve queries and outstanding issues.
  • Ensuring all billing changes are processed in line with internal controls and audit requirements.
  • Following established processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and systems.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in billing, finance or administration, ideally within a property-related environment.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
  • Confident communicating with people at all levels.
  • IT literate with good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • A quick learner who is happy to pick up new systems and processes.
  • Positive, flexible and able to work effectively as part of a team.

This role is based in Kingswinford 5 days a week
