Blacksmiths Wanted

<p>We are looking for:</p><p><strong>Blacksmiths</strong></p><p><strong>Key tasks:</strong></p><p>Your job will involve&nbsp;shaping and joining heated metal in order to create products. You will be using a forge, hammering, and power tools. Job can include some physical work in hot and noisy environments.&nbsp;</p><p>Your key responsibilities &amp; duties will include:</p><ul><li><p>Forge and shape metal using tools such as hammers, anvils, and tongs</p></li><li><p>Heat metal in a forge until it is malleable</p></li><li><p>Design and create custom metalwork pieces</p></li><li><p>Repair and maintain metal objects and equipment</p></li><li><p>Cut and drill metal pieces to the required specifications</p></li><li><p>Weld and solder metal parts together</p></li><li><p>Operate machinery such as power hammers, hammers and punches, or power tools like drills, presses and hydraulic presses</p></li><li><p>Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition</p></li><li><p>Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings</p></li><li><p>Ensure safety standards are met in the workshop</p></li></ul><p><strong>Skills:</strong></p><ul><li><p>English - must be able to communicate in English&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Safety-conscious and reliable</p></li><li><p>Physically strong and good with your hands</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of metalworking processes</p></li><li><p>Attention to detail and precision in work</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of modern welding techniques</p></li><li><p>Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with different types of metal and their properties</p></li><li><p>Knowledge in a variety of blacksmithing techniques, including traditional and modern methods</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</p></li></ul><p><strong>Experience:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience is good to have but that's not necessary</p></li></ul><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Certification from a recognized blacksmithing institute is good to have but that's not necessary</p><p><strong>We Offer you:</strong></p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Full time job in Denmark&nbsp;</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Danish contract signed with Scan Con Construction, work for Scan Con Construction</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Attractive salary&nbsp;(also vacation money, Free Choice Account, Labor market pension)</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; We guarantee 37 hours per week with possibilities for overtime (The normal average weekly working hours are according to the Union agreement as well as any local agreements)</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Flight tickets</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Transport to/ from job&nbsp;</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Accommodation&nbsp;</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Safety courses</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Work tools and clothes</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Help with applying for a residence and work permit after the Fast track scheme</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Health insurance / Medical help</p><p><strong>INTERESTED?</strong></p><p>If you have any questions about the position, or if you wish to apply, you are welcome to contact Magda Kosecka HR Administrator on phone: +45 32 82 00 00 or send your application to&nbsp;<a rel="nofollow">cv@scan-con.dk</a>&nbsp;– in e-mail title please write <strong>Blacksmith</strong></p>
